Top - In order to transfer a domain to another registrar, the request MUST be submitted through the gaining registrar (The NEW REGISTRATION COMPANY netsol, etc.).
When a transfer is initiated FROM the gaining registrar (The NEW REGISTRATION COMPANY netsol, etc.), the gaining registrar processes the necessary verifications/approvals.
Once verified by the the gaining registrar (The NEW REGISTRATION COMPANY netsol, etc.), the request is sent to the REGISTRY (Verisign, Afilias, Neulevel);
this request will be forwarded to our REGISTRAR.
As a secondary security level for our Members, our REGISTRAR will send a secondary approval request to the Admin Contact as listed in the WhoIs database.
In order for the transfer request to proceed, the administrative contact must respond within 72 hours.
If approved, the request is Acked (approved).
The Registry will notify the gaining registrar appropriately.
MORE... If you are trying to transfer REGISTRARS away from us... to another registrar... here is what you need to know. The REGISTRAR you are moving the domain TO is in charge of everything, and you must contact them for information on how their Transfer process works. We are not them, and would have NO IDEA how they do registrar transfers.
The registry system NORMALLY denies Registrar Transfers if the domain has recently been REGISTERED or RENEWED or is in any kind of dispute. ALSO, if the domain is EXPIRED, or is within 30 days of expiring, they will ALSO normally DENY transfer for that reason as well.
Most registrars require the ADMIN contact on a domain to AUTHORIZE the transfer. If you are not listed as the ADMIN contact login to your domain and make yourself the ADMIN contact. Other than this, there is NOTHING else we can tell you about the process... and we cannot provide ANY support on this... since WE are not the one doing any of it... it is completely out of our hands.
If you are having a problem, then contact the REGISTRAR you are transferring the domain TO and ask them for assistance. -
